Food research
Foodle - Gateway to Finnish food research
Finnish food research is multidisciplinary, covering all areas from 'farm to table'. In addition, well-established biotechnology and nutrition research extends it further from 'table to gut'.
Visit Foodle - the gateway to Finnish food research. Foodle offers up-to date research information for enterprises, media and developers. All the news and reports are generated by researchers themselves, who are thus able to use Foodle as a marketing channel for their results.
What is Foodle?
Foodle is a new easy-to-use service to search and deliver research information in the Finnish food sector. Foodle offers the newest results for enterprises, media and developers.
The aim of Foodle is to promote collaboration between companies and research organisations; to deliver the knowledge into companies; and to support the growth, competitiveness and feasibility of the Finnish food sector.
Foodle is part of the ETP Food for Life Finland platform, which is national forum for networking and serves as an effective information channel.
Foodle was established in collaboration between the Food Development Competence Cluster of Finland (OSKE), VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Finnish Food and Drink Industries' Federation.
Foodle is a part of the "ElintarvikePumppu" project (2009-2010) of the Food Development Cluster Programme, and has also got funding from the Uusimaa Regional Council.
