HealthBIO

The main objective of the Helsinki Region HealthBIO cluster is to generate new business for the health bio sector, and to increase and internationalise operations.

The centre’s activities focus on four areas:

• Enhancing companies’ business competencies (BioBooster growth training, increasing cooperation between the business world and academic research, increasing the business competence of doctors)
• Supporting internationalisation in the form of e.g. exports and “invest ins” (investor meetings, partnering and shared appearances at international events)
• Promoting the attainment of risk financing (facilitating R&D and risk financing)
• New business opportunities (molecular medicine, biosystems)
