Nanotechnology

The Helsinki Region Nanotechnology cluster offers nanotechnology operators in the region an impartial information and contact point. Two active microclusters are maintained for expertise in nano-coatings and aerosols (NanoSurface@Otaniemi and the Particle Forum).
The main themes are:

• Better with Nano – supporting the entry of nanotechnology products into new markets through projects, networks and pilot environments
• Responsible with Nano – nanotechnology EHS (environment, health and safety), particularly from the perspective of nano-businesses
• Profitable with Nano – developing the ecosystem and operating environment to ensure the growth of nano-businesses
