This centre of expertise has the task of creating the necessary conditions for the emergence and growth of new businesses in the lifting and moving sector, in logistics and in connection with technology services. It does so in collaboration with companies, municipal councils and development, education and research institutions.

The centre of expertise seeks to reinforce the competencies of businesses and research units in order to improve and maintain competitiveness. It is also directing and expanding its activities into influencing the further development of existing regional and national infrastructure. The activities of the Lifting and Moving centre of expertise are coordinated by the Technology Centre TechVilla Oy
