The Jyväskylä Region Centre of Expertise Programme is managed and coordinated by Jyväskylä Innovation Oy. Jyväskylä Innovation is an expert organisation that supports the growth, development and competitiveness of technology companies in Jyväskylä and Central Finland. The purpose of the company is to develop innovation environments and competence clusters, while implementing the Jyväskylä region’s centre of expertise and attractiveness programme.

The aim is to turn the Jyväskylä region into an internationally recognised technological growth area leveraging multidisciplinary activities. Jyväskylä Innovation offers a strong network and competitive expertise in providing customers with sector-specific information and services.

The Jyväskylä region implements five national cluster programmes:

● Ubiquitous Computing
● Nanotechnology
● Forest Industry Future
● Tourism and Experience Management (affiliate members)

Jyväskylä Innovation Oy also coordinates the national Nanotechnology cluster programme.
