The Jyväskylä region ICT centre of expertise focuses on creating new business through demand-based, sector-specific business research and development projects. At the core of these projects are utilising and reinforcing top-level expertise in the region and forging increasingly diverse cooperation between companies in various customer segments, and universities, universities of applied sciences, research institutions and providers of funding. ICT sector focus areas in the Jyväskylä Region Centre of Expertise are as follows: technology-based growth business, mobile data communications, multichannel services and applications, and user-driven design.
