Centre of expertise in nanotechnology
The Jyväskylä nanotechnology centre of expertise helps companies and research institutions work together to develop business operations based on nano- and microtechnology, and on the use and refinement of functional materials.
The impetus behind commercialisation is supplied by global technology companies in interaction with Finland’s national innovation network. Commercial applications in a range of industries are sought through the combination of expertise from multiple clusters.
The business needs information gathered through the Go Nano project family, and the scientific expertise of research institutions promoted by the Nano for Sale project, are being commercialised through both the related Finnish network and in cooperation with Global Nanotechnology Business Incubator partners in China, India, Russia and the United States.
