ProMetal

Raahe Region Technology Centre is the coordinator of a network called ProMetal, which consists of three production studios; Steelpolis (Raahe), ELME Studio (Nivala) and JaloteräsStudio (Tornio). Each of these studios are specialised in the materials and production technologies characteristic in their region:

• ELME Studio (Oulu Southern Institute) is specialised in production technologies of sheet metals and mechanics of electronics,
• Steelpolis is specialised in high strength steel materials, welding and R&D
• JaloteräsStudio is specialised in R&D and production technology of stainless steel products
