Maritime Cluster

The offshore industry, the maritime industry networks and expertise in business are the main fields of competence within the Satakunta Centre of Expertise. In addition to its national main responsibility areas, the Centre of Expertise also plays a supportive role in shipbuilding and maritime equipment.

In the offshore industry the objective is to improve the competitiveness of the industry and increase the share of companies operating in Finland on construction projects for oil and gas deposits. As far as the maritime industry networks are concerned, the goal is to establish and strengthen partnerships in order to improve operational preconditions in the field. The operations approach adopted by Prizztech Ltd, which is based on business processes, plays a significant role in the development of business operations and identification of needs for development throughout the cluster.
