Wearable technology, RFID and sensor technologies as well as mobile technologies form the Satakunta technological spearheads in the cluster. When examined with a technologically broader focus, the Satakunta Centre of Expertise combines expertise in ICT and electronics through different types of projects with other strong customer branches in Satakunta, such as trade, industry, maritime technology, magnet technology, research into digital culture, media and movie production, energy technology and health and well-being. Together with the different actors in the cluster the Satakunta Centre of Expertise also encourages the pursuit, development and commercialization of innovations that combine expertise from different fields.
