Eastern Finland Tourism and Experience Management development environment

The Savonlinna Region Centre of Expertise operates within five Eastern Finland provinces. Its most important task is to help existing and potential new tourism and experience management businesses to build joint products centred around lake and nature tourism. A new operating environment and development tool for the Finnish Lake District is the Lake Experience Lab, which is a Living Lab-style development environment. The Lake Experience Lab brings together local, national and international companies and networks interested in commercialising and developing lake areas. The emphasis of the Savonlinna Region Centre of Expertise within the national cluster is on developing e-business.

The centre’s services to companies include solutions for increasing the effectiveness of e-marketing, building a service brand, implementing change processes and choosing ICT solutions. The Savonlinna Region Centre of Expertise is coordinated by Savonlinna Innovation Centre Ltd
