Maritime

In the Maritime cluster, the Southwest Finland Centre of Expertise focuses on shipbuilding and shipping. The shipbuilding industry encompasses shipyards and repair docks, a large number of equipment manufacturers, turnkey suppliers in maritime technology and ship design offices. The shipping area is considered to encompass shipping companies, port operations and certain specialist areas such as shipping safety, efficiency and cost-efficiency, winter shipping and the environmental aspects of shipping.
