The development work of the competence cluster combines regional strengths with a wide national network of experts from different fields. Innovations are often created on the interfaces of different fields, and it is therefore very important to utilise the know-how of all different fields.

The innovative development of the Forest Industry Future competence cluster is made within six fields of competence. Each centre of expertise is responsible for promoting a single field of competence, in which they possess an exceptionally strong know-how.
