The Forest Industry Future competence cluster brings centres of expertise and their many operators from around Finland together. The operations model is based on strong networking. The cluster programme is the bridge joining the different experts into a single network. As these dispersed resources are brought together, it creates a possibility for interdisciplinary research and innovations, which are often discovered on the interfaces of different operational areas.
